This portfolio is comprised of 80% equity and 20% fixed income. It is considered aggressive and falls in the moderately aggressive risk rating. It is designed for long-term investors who want good growth potential and don’t need current income. Entails a fair amount of volatility, but not as much as a portfolio invested exclusively in equities. Investors seek long-term principle growth and are able to accept potentially significant volatility during difficult phases in a market cycle and have an investment time horizon of at least eight years.
